Create Posts Using The Post Editor
Adding content to SmarterQueue is simple and quick, whether you’re using our Web Dashboard or the Browser Extension. Follow these steps to create and schedule your posts efficiently.

How To Add A Post
- Open the Post Editor: From the “Publish” view of your SmarterQueue dashboard, click "New Post" in the upper-right corner.
- Select a Category: Choose a Category to organize your post within SmarterQueue.
- Select Social Profiles: Pick the social profiles where you want to publish:
- For Instagram, select if the post is meant for Feed/Reels, Stories. Additionally, select if SmarterQueue should attempt to publish directly or send a notification for manual publishing. Learn how publishing content to Instagram works.
- For Pinterest, select a board.
- For TikTok, adjust settings.
💡 Tip: Customize each post element per profile by enabling “Customize per profile”.
- Add Post Text: Write your post text, add mentions and hashtags, as well as enhance your content with custom text and emojis.
- For Pinterest, add a title, and for Google Business Profiles, you can add a call-to-action button.
- You can also add links to your posts by pasting them into the text box. Learn more about using links in your posts.
- Add Media: Upload images, videos, or other media. Learn more about media options and guidelines.
- Select Post Timing: Choose your post timing options. Explore scheduling methods and options. Save as a draft if needed.
- Set Evergreen Options: Decide if the post should recycle or publish based on your timing settings. Understand how Evergreen works.
- Save your post: Click “Save Post”.
📝 Note: SmarterQueue allows you to set default post settings (including Evergreen status, media handling, queue position, and more) to streamline your workflow. These defaults apply automatically when creating new posts but can always be adjusted in the Post Editor. Learn how to customize your default publishing settings.
