Add A First Comment To Your Post

Adding first comments to your posts is a great way to engage your audience right from the start. You can easily add first comments for Instagram Creator/Business Profiles, Facebook Pages, and LinkedIn Profiles & Pages directly from the Post Editor.

How To Add A First Comment To Your Post

  1. Open the Post Editor: navigate to "New Post" or edit an existing post.
  2. Create or Edit Your Post: choose a Category, select the Social Profiles, and add your text and media.
  3. Select "Add First Comment" in the Post Editor.

đź“ť Note: For Instagram Creator/Business Profiles, direct publishing must be enabled to use this feature. 

  1. Add Your First Comment. The Preview pane will update to show how it will appear with your post.

đź“ť Note: Instagram allows a maximum of 30 hashtags total between the post and the first comment.

  1. Customize First Comments for Each Profile: use the "Customize per profile" toggle in the Post Editor to tailor your First Comment for each social profile. You can:
    • Edit the First Comment for specific profiles.
    • Delete the First Comment for profiles where you don’t want it published.
  1. Finalize Your Post: select your Post Timing and Evergreen settings, then save or publish the post.
