Save Posts As Drafts
Sometimes you’re not ready to add a post to your Queue, but you want to save your work and come back to it later. SmarterQueue makes it easy to save your posts as drafts.

How To Save A Post As A Draft
- Start by opening the Post Editor and creating your post.
- In the dropdown next to the "Customize per profile" option, select "Draft". This will save the post as a draft instead of scheduling it for publishing.
- Customize per Profile (Optional): if you’re creating a post for multiple profiles, you can enable "Customize per profile" to manage drafts individually:
- Set some profiles to "Active" to schedule the post for publishing.
- Set others to "Draft" to save them for later editing.
- Once your settings are configured, click "Save". Your post will be saved as a draft and can be edited later.
📝 Note: Keep in mind that draft posts count toward your Queue limit.
How To Find And Manage Your Drafts
Locate Your Drafts
Drafts are easily accessible in your Queue. Navigate to “Publish”, then “Queue”, and use the “Drafts” filter on the left-hand side under “Post Status”.
Manage Drafts
Click on the 3-dot menu button for any draft and select:
- “Edit”: Open the draft in the Post Editor to make changes, including setting the post as “Active” to be published.
- “Duplicate”: Create a copy of the draft in the Post Editor, allowing you to make edits that won’t affect the original draft.
- “Delete”: Permanently delete the draft.
Move Queued Posts to Drafts
To move a queued post back to drafts, click “Edit” (under the 3-dot menu) and change the post status from “Active” to "Draft".
