How To Add Your LinkedIn Profile Or Page To SmarterQueue
- Ensure you are logged into the LinkedIn account that manages your LinkedIn Profile or Company Page in another browser tab.
- Click the โ Settings icon in the top-right corner and go to Social Profiles.
- Click "Connect" for LinkedIn and select if youโre connecting a profile or company page.
- Follow the prompts to log into your LinkedIn account and grant all required permissions.
- Select the LinkedIn Profile/Company Page you want to connect and click "Add":
- If your LinkedIn Company Page isn't showing, check the steps under Troubleshooting Missing Pages When Connecting LinkedIn.
๐ Note: LinkedIn Pages must be connected via a LinkedIn Profile that has the appropriate admin permissions.

How To Create And Schedule A LinkedIn Post
- From the Publish view, click "New Post" in the upper-right corner.
- Choose a Category to organize your post within SmarterQueue.
- Select your LinkedIn Profile and/or Page as the publishing destination:
- You can select multiple pages/profiles, or cross-post with other platforms.
- Write your post caption. You can also:
- Mention LinkedIn Company Pages if needed;
- Include a link in your post.
- Add media to your post.
- Choose your posting timing preference.
- Set your post to Evergreen if you want to repurpose it.
- Click โSave Postโ.
How To Import Content To LinkedIn
SmarterQueue allows you to import content from multiple sources and schedule it for your LinkedIn Profiles and Company Pages. You can import from:
- Your connected LinkedIn Profile or Company Pages
- Other connected profiles (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest)
- External sources (blogs, news feeds, YouTube channels/playlists, Google Alerts, RSS Feeds)
How To Import Content
- Navigate to Discover, then Find Content.
- Select your source from the dropdown menu.
- Browse the posts and select the content you want to add.
- You can choose Save Source to keep the source accessible for future use or set up an Auto-Importer (available for RSS Feeds) to import new content automatically.
Importing LinkedIn Content via CSV

LinkedIn Post Requirements
Text & Mentions
- Captions can include up to 3,000 characters, giving you room for detailed descriptions, hashtags, and mentions
- Mentions:
- You can mention LinkedIn Company Pages but not LinkedIn Profiles.
- To mention a LinkedIn Page, type "@" followed by the page's ID as shown in its URL - you must know the exact URL ID to mention a Page.
- Once the full correct page ID is entered, a dropdown will appear with the matching LinkedIn Page.
- Select the Page name, and it will be shown highlighted in blue. If a mention is not detected, pressing the left arrow key may trigger detection.
Link Previews
- SmarterQueue sends the preview to LinkedIn, ensuring that the link preview matches what is shown in the Post Editor.
Image Guidelines
- Recommended Size: 1200ร628 pixels (1.91:1 ratio)LinkedIn may crop images randomly if they exceed the recommended size.
- Preview Size: 1200ร628 pixels (cropped to 552ร289 in some feeds)
- Max Images per Post: 20 (Max size: 10MB per image)

How To Check Your LinkedIn Post Analytics
Monitoring your LinkedIn post performance gives you valuable insights into how your content resonates with professionals and business audiences. With SmarterQueue, you can track engagement, including likes, impressions and comments, and analyze trends to optimize your LinkedIn strategy.
How To Track Individual LinkedIn Post Performance
- Click "Publish" in the top menu, then select the "Queue".
- Filter for โPublishedโ on the left-hand side to review past posts.
- Use additional filters to refine results by social profile, Category, content, post timing, and more.
- For each LinkedIn post published to a LinkedIn Profile, track:
- Likes โ The total number of likes received.
- Comments โ Engagement in the form of user feedback.
- For each LinkedIn post published to a LinkedIn Company Page, track:
- Likes โ The total number of likes received.
- Comments โ Engagement in the form of user feedback.
- Shares โ The number of times the post was shared.
- Impressions โ The number of times the post was displayed to users.
- Clicks โ Track total click stats.
How To Analyze Your LinkedIn Performance
- Click "Analyze" in the top menu, then select โAnalyze per Profileโ from the left-hand side
- Select your LinkedIn Profile or Company Page from the dropdown.
- Pick a date range and click "Apply" to refine your results.
- The following insights will be available:
- Total Posts Published โ The number of LinkedIn posts published within the selected period.
- Engagement Metrics โ Includes likes, comments, and shares.
- Performance Trends โ Helps identify which posts perform best over time.

Troubleshooting Missing Pages When Connecting LinkedIn
If your LinkedIn Page isnโt appearing when you try to connect, itโs often due to admin rights or permissions:
- Ensure you're logged into the LinkedIn account with admin access.
- Confirm youโre listed as a Super Admin for the Page in LinkedIn settings (Content Admin and Analyst roles wonโt work).
- Reconnect SmarterQueue and ensure all requested permissions are approved during the connection flow (follow steps here to reconnect).
- If the Page still isnโt showing:
- Log out of both LinkedIn and SmarterQueue.
- Log back into LinkedIn using the account with admin access.
- Open SmarterQueue and go to Profiles โ Add Profile โ LinkedIn.
- Reconnect LinkedIn and approve all permissions for SmarterQueue when prompted.
