SmarterQueue allows you to easily add images, GIFs, or videos to your posts in just a few quick steps, and help attract your followers’ attention, easily get your message across, and increase engagement.

How To Upload Media From Your Computer
- Navigate to the Post Editor by clicking “New Post” in your SmarterQueue dashboard.
- In the Post Editor, locate and click the “Add Media” button. This will bring up several options for adding media.
- Choose the “Upload Media” option from the “Add Media” pop-up. This will open a file browser window on your computer.
- Choose Your Media Files: Browse your computer to where your media files are stored, then select the images, videos, or GIFs you want to upload. You can select and upload multiple files at once.
📝 Note: Alternatively, you can simply drag and drop media into the Post Editor window.
- Previewing Your Uploaded Media:
- Images and GIFs: These will be uploaded and displayed in the Post Editor immediately.
- Videos: After uploading a video, you will see a preview thumbnail. That said, the full video will process after you save the post to your Queue or as a draft.
- Video Titles: If the platform supports video titles, consider adding a clear and engaging title. Although not all platforms display video titles prominently, they can improve discoverability and provide additional context for your video content.
- Managing Your Uploaded Media:
- Rearranging Media: If you’ve uploaded multiple files, you can rearrange their order in the Post Editor.
- Removing Media: You can remove any media by clicking the trash icon if you change your mind.
Platform-Specific Media Considerations
Image Limits by Platform:
- Facebook: Up to 10 images per post (Max size: 10MB per image);
- Instagram: Up to 10 images per post (Max size: 10MB per image);
- LinkedIn: Up to 20 images per post (Max size: 10MB per image);
- X (Twitter): Up to 4 images per post (Max size: 5MB per image);
- Pinterest: Supports only 1 image per post (Max size: 10MB per image):
- Google Business Profiles: Supports only 1 image per post (Max size: 15MB per image, where the image must be at least 250x250 pixels and more than 10kb).
- TikTok: Publishing images to TikTok is currently not supported.
Video Considerations:
- You can upload one video per post, with a maximum size of 512MB. While HDR (High Dynamic Range) videos are becoming more popular, SmarterQueue does not support the HDR format, as these videos might not display correctly on all social platforms.
GIF Support by Platform:
- Instagram, Google Business Profiles: GIFs are not supported directly.
- Pinterest: GIFs are supported but may be treated as static images or converted to video.
- Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn: GIFs are fully supported and can be uploaded directly to posts.
Additional Notes:
- Carousel Posts: SmarterQueue does not currently support mixed media (both images and videos) or multiple video files within carousel posts. However, you can add all media types to your post to be used as separate media variations.

Common Questions
1. Can I edit my media after uploading it?
Currently, SmarterQueue does not support editing media (e.g., cropping or trimming) after uploading. You can rearrange the order of your media or remove and re-upload files if needed.
2. How do I record videos on my iPhone without HDR?
To record videos on your iPhone without HDR, go to Settings > Camera > Record Video and disable HDR Video. This ensures your videos will be compatible with all social platforms and SmarterQueue.
3. How can I preview my media before publishing the post?
To see how your media will appear in your post, click on the “Preview” button on the right-hand side of the Post Editor. This will open the "Preview" pane, allowing you to review how your images, videos, and other media will look when the post is published.
