Set Your Timezone & Date Format Preferences
SmarterQueue allows you to customize your timezone, date, and time format to match your preferred way of viewing scheduled posts. These settings do not affect when posts are published. They only adjust how times and dates are displayed within SmarterQueue.

How To Set Your Timezone & Date Format Preferences
Click the âš™ Settings icon in the top-right corner, then go to My Account. Here, you can adjust:
- Timezone: Select the correct timezone to ensure your Queue and Posting Plan reflect the correct local time. (This is essential for scheduling accuracy.)
- Week Start Day: Choose whether your calendar view starts on Monday or Sunday, depending on your regional preference.
- Time Format: Choose between a 12-hour (AM/PM) or 24-hour time format for displaying post times.
- Date Format: Select between MM/DD/YYYY (mainly used in the U.S.) or DD/MM/YYYY (commonly used in other regions).
Your changes save automatically and will update your Queue and Posting Plan views accordingly.
Common Questions
1. Does changing my timezone affect when posts are published?
Yes and no:
- Manually scheduled posts will adjust to reflect the new timezone. For example, if a post was scheduled for 3 PM in your old timezone, it will now show 3 PM in the newly selected timezone.
- Posting Plan timeslots will stay the same (e.g., if you have a timeslot set for 9 AM, it will still publish at 9 AM in the new timezone). However, posts will now be published according to the new timezone's clock.
2. What happens if I travel to a different timezone?
Your scheduled posts will still be published based on the original timezone setting. If you want SmarterQueue to adjust publishing based on your new location time, update your timezone under âš™ Settings > My Account.
3. Can I set different timezones for different social profiles?
No, SmarterQueue uses a single timezone setting for all scheduled posts in your account. However, when manually scheduling a post in the Post Editor ( “Set Date & Time” or “Recurring” under Timing), you can select a different timezone for that specific post.
