How To Publish A Post Right Away
- Create Your Post: Start by creating your post in the Post Editor. Select the Category and your preferred Social Profiles, and add your content.
- Set Post Timing: Under "Timing" (on the right-hand side), click on the “Date & Time” button and choose "Post Now" to publish your post immediately.
- Review Evergreen Settings: Ensure your Evergreen settings are configured based on if and how you want the post to be recycled.
- Publish: Scroll down and click "Save Post" to share your content right away.
How To Add Content To The Queue
- Create Your Post: Start by creating your post in the Post Editor. Select the Category and your preferred Social Profiles, and add your content.
- Set Post Timing: Under "Timing" (on the right-hand side), choose "Use Posting Plan", then select:
- Top of Queue: The post will be published at the next available Timeslot in your Posting Plan for the selected Category and Social Profile combination.
- Bottom of Queue: The post will be published after all other queued posts for the selected Category and Social Profile combination.
- Review Evergreen Settings: Ensure your Evergreen settings are configured based on if and how you want the post to be recycled.
- Save to Queue: Scroll down and click "Save Post" to add the post to your Queue.

- Schedule Multiple Dates: Use the "Add another date" option to schedule the post for multiple dates/times.
- Adjust Timezone: If needed, click on “Change Timezone” to adjust the timezone for this specific post.
- Set Evergreen Recycling: Configure Evergreen Recycling if you want the post to be reused after the scheduled times, using the Timeslots in your Posting Plan.
- Save & Schedule: Scroll down and click "Save Post" to schedule the post.

Yes, you can customize the timing for each profile using the "Customize per profile" toggle.
2. What happens if a scheduled post conflicts with a Timeslot in my Posting Plan?
If both posts are created for the same Category and Social Profile combination, the scheduled post will take priority, and the Timeslot will be skipped.
3. Can I change how a post is scheduled?
Absolutely. Edit the post and change the “Timing” options to match how you’d like the have the post be published moving forward.
4. What Timezone Is Used for Scheduled Posts?
SmarterQueue uses the timezone set in your account settings to schedule posts. You can adjust this by going to Settings > My Account > Timezone. Learn how to update your timezone.
💡 Tip: Manually scheduled posts (specific dates/times or recurring) can have a different timezone applied in the Post Editor by selecting “Change Timezone” under Timing options.
