Pause Or Cancel Your SmarterQueue Subscription

SmarterQueue gives you the flexibility to take a break or cancel your subscription whenever you need to. While cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period, you can take action at any time to adjust your plan.

Taking A Break From SmarterQueue

While SmarterQueue doesn’t offer a formal “pause” option, you can cancel your subscription at any time and return when you’re ready.

How It Works:

  • If you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Once your remaining paid time is up, your subscription will end and publishing will be paused.
  • All your content, profiles, and settings will be retained for 6 months after cancellation.
  • If you return within 6 months, you can reactivate your subscription and everything will be exactly as you left it.

đź’ˇ Tip: This gives you flexibility to take a break without losing your content or settings.

How To Take A Break:

  1. Click on the "Settings" gear icon (⚙️) and select "Subscription Management".
  2. Select "Cancel Subscription":
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm cancellation.
  4. Confirm Cancellation: You’ll receive a confirmation email once the cancellation is processed.

Canceling Your Subscription

If you no longer want to use SmarterQueue, you can cancel your subscription at any time.

What Happens When You Cancel:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.
  • Any content in your Queue will remain scheduled and will still post until the cancellation takes effect (you can pause publishing if you want to stop content from going out).
  • Once your subscription ends:
    • Publishing will be paused.
    • Your content, settings, and history will be retained for 6 months in case you decide to reactivate.
    • After 6 months of inactivity, your data will be deleted permanently.

How to Cancel Your Subscription:

  1. Click on the "Settings" gear icon (⚙️) and select "Subscription Management".
  2. Select "Cancel Subscription":
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm cancellation.
  4. Confirm Cancellation: You’ll receive a confirmation email once the cancellation is processed.

Canceling a Trial

If you’re on a trial and decide SmarterQueue isn’t the right fit, you can cancel before the trial ends:

  1. Click on the "Settings" gear icon (⚙️) and select "Subscription Management".
  2. Select "Cancel Trial":
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm cancellation.

đź“ť Note: Unless you've upgraded to a paid plan and provided a payment method, trials don't automatically convert to paid accounts, so you don't need to cancel your trial.


Reactivating Your Subscription

You can restart your subscription at any time after canceling by following these steps:

  1. Click on the "Settings" gear icon (⚙️) and select "Subscription Management".
  2. Select "Upgrade" to view the Pricing Page.
  3. Choose one of the main plans or configure a custom one, the click "Select Plan".
  4. On the next screen, you'll see a summary of your Plan, Business Details, Billing Details, and Payment Details. Please review and update this information as needed.
  5. When you're done, simply click "Checkout" at the bottom of the page!
  6. You'll see a confirmation on the next screen to confirm "Payment authorization successful!".
