Use Bulk Actions When Importing Content In Bulk
When importing multiple posts at once, whether from your connected social profiles, external sources, or a CSV file, the Bulk Editor helps you fine-tune each post before it reaches your Queue.
And if you're editing a large number of posts, the Bulk Actions button lets you apply the same settings to all of them in just a few clicks.

When You'll See Bulk Actions
You'll access the "Bulk Actions "tool once you’ve selected multiple posts to import in bulk, either by:
- Selecting multiple posts using the Bulk Import button from the Find Content page (like an RSS feed or connected social profile), or,
- Uploading a CSV file through the Bulk Import from CSV tool.
Both methods bring you to the Bulk Editor, where you can review and customize your imported posts before adding them to your Queue.
That’s where Bulk Actions comes in, letting you apply the same settings across all posts in one go.
How To Access And Use Bulk Actions
Once you’re in the Bulk Editor, click the Bulk Actions button in the top-left corner of the editor window.
You’ll see a side panel with three tabs:
- Post Targeting
- Link Settings
- Scheduling
You can switch between tabs and selectively apply only the settings you want.
📝 Note: The selections made in "Bulk Actions" will override any individual selections you've made in the Bulk Importer. Make sure to use "Bulk Actions" first and apply your preferred settings to all imported content, then use the Bulk Importer for individual edits where needed.
Post Targeting
Apply content targeting options across all posts:
- Post Status: Choose whether posts are added as Active or Draft.
- Social Profiles: Select which profiles the posts should publish to.
- Category: Assign a Category to help organize content and follow your Posting Plan.
- Instagram Post Type: If you're publishing to Instagram, choose Feed/Reel or Story.
- Instagram Publishing Method: If you're publishing to Instagram, set whether posts will publish directly or via the mobile notification workflow.
Link Settings
Control how links are handled for all posts:
- Original or Redirected Link: Use the original link as entered, or share the destination URL that link redirets to.
- Existing UTM Parameters: Remove or keep existing UTM tracking for Google Analytics.
- Google Analytics: Add your own campaign UTM tracking.
- Click Tracking: Enable or disable Bitly tracking. You can also access your default Bitly settings from here, to make changes, if needed.
Scheduling
Control how and when posts are scheduled:
- Position in Queue: Choose whether new posts go to the top or bottom of your sub-Queue(s) for the Category and Social Profile combinations for your selections under "Post Targeting".
- Evergreen Recycling: Enable Evergreen, set expiration dates, or limit the number of recycle cycles.
Once you've selected the settings you'd like to apply, click Apply Changes at the bottom of the side panel. All checked options will be applied to every post in your current Bulk Import list.
📝 Note: Once you're back in the main Bulk Importer screen, you can still make individual edits to posts or customize per profile before saving. Any settings you apply with Bulk Actions can be changed per post before finalizing your import.
