SmarterQueue’s Instagram Grid helps you visually plan your upcoming Instagram posts, ensuring a cohesive and well-structured feed. Drag and drop your scheduled posts to adjust their order, preview how your content will appear, and refine your posting strategy effortlessly.

How To Access The Instagram Grid

  1. Click Publish in the top menu.
  2. Select Instagram Grid from the secondary navigation bar.
  3. Your scheduled Instagram posts will be displayed in a grid format, reflecting how they will appear in your feed once published.
  4. SmarterQueue automatically filters the view to show an Instagram profile - use the filters in the left-hand pane to switch to a different Instagram profile. 

How To Preview And Adjust Your Upcoming Posts

  • The Instagram Grid will display:
    • The most recent live posts on your Instagram feed.  
    • The scheduled posts for your Instagram profile (use the slider at the top of the planner to show more queued posts).
  • An icon at the bottom-left corner of each post will explain how the post is scheduled.
  • The 3-dot menu that appears when hovering over a post allows you to preview, edit, or delete a post from your Queue.

How To Reorder Your Instagram Feed

Drag and drop posts within the same Category to reorder them and build the best feed.

You won't be able to reorder:

  • Posts that are in different Categories, as your Timeslots in your Posting Plan will be scheduled for different times.
  • Posts that are scheduled for specific dates/times or set as recurring. Only posts that are using the Posting Plan can be reordered. 

📝 Note: To easily reorder your Instagram posts, create a dedicated Category and assign all related content to it. This setup allows unrestricted drag-and-drop reordering without interference from other Categories.

To add new posts to your Queue and Instagram Grid, click on “New Post” in the upper-right corner.
