What Are The Post Statuses And How Do They Help?
Active Posts
Active posts are currently part of your Queue, whether they are manually scheduled or set to publish using the Posting Plan.
To manage Active posts efficiently, use the 3-dot menu on each post to:
- Edit: Update the content, adjust scheduling, or modify Variations.
- Duplicate: Create a new post based on the current one for easy repurposing.
- Delete: Remove the post if it’s no longer needed.
For each active post, you can track performance metrics such as Clicks, Likes, Shares, Comments, and Impressions. Click the "Detailed Stats" button to view insights into how the post has performed across publishing cycles.
Expired Posts
Expired posts are those that have already been published and are no longer active in your Queue, including posts published once, on recurring schedules that have ended, or as part of their final Evergreen cycle.
To manage Expired posts efficiently, use the 3-dot menu on each post to:
- Edit: Update the content and prepare it for republishing.
- Reschedule: Set a new publishing date and add the post back to the Queue.
- Delete: Permanently remove the post if it’s no longer relevant.
Expired posts also provide performance metrics, allowing you to analyze engagement trends and identify which Variations performed best.
