Navigating The Updated Analytics
Our primary goal in enhancing Analytics for the new SmarterQueue was to create a significantly improved and user-friendly product, and so we're excited to introduce a new design, impressive widgets, and a simpler way to identify areas for improvement.
However, it's essential to clarify that we haven't yet arrived at the final product. Our new Analytics section provides insight into our direction, incorporating fresh ideas while retaining beloved legacy widgets.
As the new SmarterQueue continues to grow and evolve, it will become an even more powerful tool.

What’s New About Your Analytics?
The new Analytics section has been redesigned to provide either detailed results for your individual social profiles or offer a combined overview of your results across your entire social media presence.
Simply click on the "Analyze" button at the top of the dashboard and choose which view you want to check out first:
The first thing you'll notice is the list of reports on the left-hand side. You now have the option to explore either a comprehensive overview of your social profiles' data under the Overview Dashboard or utilize our revamped Analyze per Profile feature to gain deeper insights into your post performance and identify the optimal posting times.
1. "Overview Dashboard" provides vital information on your general social media presence, with metrics on your published posts, your audience growth, total engagement numbers, and performance for each of your Categories, all split via three easily distinguishable and manageable sub-sections.
2. "Analyze per Profile" offers a similar approach, but tailored to the success of specific Social Profiles, with relevant metrics and charts. The same three sub-sections are available for now, but keep an eye out for the "Best Times To Post" widget under the "Engagement" one.
As you check your reports, a convenient drop-down menu located at the top of the page enables you to handpick the Social Profiles you wish to analyze.
You'll be able to view metrics for one Social Profile at a time under "Analyze Per Profile", while "Overview Dashboard" will allow the selection of one or multiple profiles at a time, for compared and aggregated data.
Note: Keep in mind that, for now, the new "Analyze" section only shows data for posts published through SmarterQueue.
Additionally, we've given the timeframe selection a makeover. You can now access it from the top right corner of your dashboard and easily apply your desired time frame.
Even with a simpler and not yet finalized new analytics section, there's no point in leaving your posting schedule up to guesswork!
Note: If you're looking to analyze the performance of your past posts, with detailed per-cycle metrics, Boost info, and stats for each Variation in your A/B test, check out our article on "Reviewing Past Posts: New Tools & Tips".
How To View A Mixed Overview Of Your Data
A mixed overview of your social media performance across multiple platforms is an incredibly valuable feature, as it offers a unified and clear view of how your social profiles are performing collectively.
It simplifies the process of analyzing key metrics and trends, enabling you to make informed decisions more efficiently. With this consolidated view, you can easily compare and contrast performance data, identify growth opportunities, and refine your content strategy.
1. To check out this mixed overview, go to "Analyze", then select "Overview Dashboard" on the left-hand side:
2. Next, select the Social Profiles you’d like to analyze from the “Select Profiles” drop-down menu located on the top of your dashboard.
Note: If you'd like to see more in-depth analytics for your Instagram Profile, then you'll need to convert your Personal Profile to a Business Profile and connect it via a Facebook Page 💪
Note: We don't currently support analyzing Google Business Profiles.
Note: Due to new Twitter API limitations imposed on April 29th, 2023, SmarterQueue can no longer check metrics for any connected Twitter profiles. You will still be able to see analytics data gathered before April 29th, 2023.
3. Then choose a date range from the top right of your dashboard, and click "Apply".
4. Your report will load right away, with all available data based on posts you've published via SmarterQueue. Here's what you'll be able to see:
- Overview: specific metrics for your followers, engagement, impressions, and total number of posts published, followed by a chart on your audience growth over the selected time frame, showing the evolution in percentages for each selected profile.
- Engagement: charts on total engagement, per profile, by day, including selections for likes, comments, or shares, for a clear image of how your engagement metrics have evolved over time.
- Category Performance: total number of posts published for each Category, what aggregated engagement metrics they've returned, and how the Category results compare to each other.
Note: We only show analytics for active Categories. If you're interested in metrics for archived Categories, you'll need to restore them first from the "Categories" section.
Keep in mind that you can interact with most of the charts. Hovering over them will display the exact metrics for the social profile and date you're looking at.
Whether you're a social media manager or a business owner, this tool streamlines the way you track your progress, allowing you to optimize your digital marketing efforts and achieve your overarching social media goals more effectively.
