Meta Error: Temporary Issues, Error Processing Request (Facebook & Instagram)

Note: Due to Instagram Business and Creator profiles requiring a connection to a Facebook Page for direct publishing to work, you might see these errors come up for Instagram posts too.

Facebook: Clear Cache Errors

Sometimes, Facebook will show the following error messages when trying to perform any action:

• Error Processing Request 
• Temporary Issue with API
• Temporary Issue due to Throttling
• Service Temporarily Unavailable

This is generally on Facebook side and clears up after a few minutes. 

However, sometimes they need you to clear the cache to reset.

To Clear Your Cache

1. Click on your browser history tab. 
2. Click on "Clear Browsing Data" and remove files and data for at least the past 4 weeks. 
3. You may need to log back in to Facebook (and Instagram), and also SmarterQueue to continue.
