What’s New With The Media Library?

Firstly, we’ve moved the Media Library under the new “Publish” section, accessible from the top menu of your dashboard, making it the one-stop-shop for all tools related to easily and efficiently scheduling your social media content.

Once you access your Media Library, on the right-hand side you’ll find one of the most highly requested features, the “Add Media” button, which allows you to upload media (in bulk) directly from your computer, as well as find Free Images from Pixabay, Unsplash, and Giphy, paste from a URL, or design in Canva:

For a more seamless user experience, we’ve also moved the filters to the left-hand side of your screen. Here you can filter your media by Type (images, videos, or GIFs), Origin (upload, web, Canva), or Proportions (wide, square, or tall) making it easier than ever to apply combined filters, narrow down your search and attach just the right type of media to your posts.

Not only that, but we've also introduced the ability to select multiple images, videos, or GIFs from the start and use them to create a post.

And you can use this multi-select tool to easily delete media in bulk too.

How To Access The Media Library In The Post Editor

While editing or adding a post, you can search and add your manually uploaded or previously used media directly from the Post Editor.

1. Inside the Post Editor, click on the “Add Media” button.

2. In the pop-up that appears, select “Media Library”.

3. The "Media Library" window will open and from here you can view and search for all images, GIFs, and videos you've previously uploaded or already used in SmarterQueue.

4. Click on one or multiple photos/GIFs/videos, and then select “Add To Post” to continue building your post in the Post Editor.

Note: For now you won’t be able to mix different media types for the same post, though this is coming in the future. However, you can select multiple images or videos at the same time, to create multi-image posts or different media variations for your Evergreen content.

Note: If you're looking to create a post for multiple social profiles and use different media for each one simply select all of the media you'll need in one go. Once in the Post Editor, you'll be able to customize the post per profile and remove the additional media that are not needed for each profile individually. How To Bulk Upload Media

This highly requested feature is finally here ✨ - you can now bulk upload media directly into your Media Library, to store for later use in your SmarterQueue posts.

This is now easily done by clicking the “Add Media” button in the upper-right corner of the Media Library.

Select “Upload Media” and then bulk import from your device.

And that’s not all! In addition to uploading media from your own device, you can also import free images from Pixabay, Unsplash, and Giphy, paste from a URL or design in Canva, all of this from inside your SmarterQueue Media Library.

How To Create Posts From The Media Library

You now have multiple ways of sharing your content from the Media Library.

If you’re only going to be using one image or video file for your post, you can hover over the piece of media you like and click on the “Share” button from the bottom left:

Additionally, you can also click on the 3-dot menu from the bottom right, and select the “Share in Post” option (or share to view larger first and make sure the image/video works for the post):

If you’d like to share multiple images/videos in the new post, hover over them, then click on the check box that is displayed in the top-left corner of each one. This will allow you to select all of the images/videos you want to use and then click on “Share in Post” at the bottom of the screen.
