What’s New In Setting Up Auto-Importers?

As part of our comprehensive revamp, we've moved your Auto-Importers to a new, dedicated tab.

You can now seamlessly oversee and handle all of them within the "Auto-Importers" tab, conveniently located within the "Discover" section.

Here you’ll find all of your existing auto-RSS importers and will have the ability to edit, pause/resume, or delete each one individually. This is easily done by clicking on an importer's dedicated three-dot menu.

You're also able to promptly pause and delete all of your imports at the same time from the button in the upper-right corner 💪

Additionally, we've given the user interface a fresh makeover, making it super easy for you to quickly find the perfect settings for each RSS feed. 😊

Here’s what you can see right away:

  • The current status of the auto-RSS importer: Active or Paused;
  • The Social Profile(s) selected for content imported from the auto-RSS feed;
  • The Category the posts will belong to;
  • How imported posts will be saved to your account (as a Draft, as active posts sent to the Top or Bottom of the Queue, set to Publish ASAP);
  • If the posts are set to recycle as Evergreen content.

And, of course, you’ll want to automatically import from new sources in the future as well.

To set up brand new auto-importers and save valuable time bringing in amazing content from external sources, we've introduced a user-friendly "Add Auto-Importer" button within the "Auto-Importers" tab 💪

Additionally, you can still search for content from blogs, websites, YouTube channels, or playlists in "Find Content"! Simply select "RSS" from the platform dropdown.

After pasting the link in, SmarterQueue will populate with the latest posts. This will work best when you’re looking into RSS feeds that you haven’t published from before, to check for already existing content you might want to import first and fill up your Queue.

All the familiar functionality is still available; however, there is now a separate “Set Auto-Import” button available! If a feed promises great future content for your social media presence, you can save it as an Auto-Import much quicker than before.

A pop-up window will appear so that you can choose your settings, such as what Category the posts will belong to and what Social Profiles they’ll be published to, and many others, before saving the source as an Auto-Importer.

How To Add An Auto-RSS Importer

Now that we’ve taken a quick look at the main changes made in the new version of SmarterQueue, let's delve into the detailed process of adding an Auto-RSS importer, step by step!

5. A pop-up will appear to help you decide on all required settings for the Auto-Importer:
